Proud To Have Served runs in gold above a saluting servicewoman and a field of red poppies across a female veteran grommet flag, the American flag behind her. Women who served are still asked whether it was their husband who was in the military, and this answers that before anyone at the door has to.

Daughters, sisters and wives who want the female veteran in their family recognized can hang this outdoor banner for Veterans Day or the day she retires, and many women veterans buy it for their own porch. The ribbon banner reads Female Veteran, so nobody passing has to guess whose service the poppies honor.
