Fixing History — A vintage-inspired linocut design featuring Tiktaalik roseae, the iconic transitional species from the Devonian Period (~375 million years ago). This humorous shirt reimagines one of Earth’s most pivotal evolutionary moments: the first vertebrate steps onto land. Tiktaalik was a lobe-finned fish with both gills and lungs, possessing proto-limbs that hint at the rise of amphibians. Found in ancient river deposits in Nunavut, Canada, it bridges the gap between fish and tetrapods, symbolizing a critical chapter in the story of life on land.

Whether you're a science nerd, evolutionary biologist, or just love a good paleo-meme, this shirt playfully says what we've all thought: maybe we shouldn’t have left the water. Every order funds kelp restoration on the Pacific Northwest coast.
