Isotelus maximus, the giant smooth-shelled trilobite of the Late Ordovician seas around Cincinnati, sits at the centre of a mirror-symmetric natural-history plate, wreathed by stalked crinoids that rise from the lower corners and arch over it, with ribbed brachiopods and two small starfish at its base. Isotelus is the state fossil of Ohio. One warm black ink in fine stipple on Sand, White, Military Green or Tropical Blue.
