This vintage-inspired design features Carbonemys, the giant prehistoric turtle, illustrated in a lightly distressed, hand-drawn style with the phrase “take it slow” integrated into the shell. Carbonemys lived during the Paleocene epoch, shortly after the dinosaur extinction, and the clean white artwork stands out against a deep black background for a bold yet minimalist natural history look. The retro aesthetic blends prehistoric wildlife with a relaxed, timeless message rooted in deep time. Made from 100% ring-spun cotton (high-quality cotton) with a soft, sensory-friendly feel. Every order funds kelp restoration on the Pacific Northwest coast.
